Loki-Themed Simpsons Parody with Hiddleston
Loki actor Tom Hiddleston is getting animated for a mashup that brings The Simpsons into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney+ announced the special animated short, The Good, the Bart, and The Loki, with Tom Hiddleston voicing Loki. It will start streaming on Disney+ on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
In the special, the god of mischief has been banished from Asgard and has made his way to Springfield. There, Loki will team up with Bart Simpsons to cook up some trouble in the latter’s hometown.
A poster was released to accompany the special, which takes its cues from the Avengers: Endgame movie poster, substituting The Simpsons characters for the Marvel heroes. Loki is at the center top with Bart as Thanos, Lisa as Thor, Ned Flanders as Ant-Man, Milhouse as Hawkeye, Ralph Wiggum as Hulk, and Carl as Nick Fury.
Hiddleston is currently starring in the Loki series on Disney+, alongside Owen Wilson as Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Sasha Lane as Hunter C-20, and Tara Strong as the voice of Miss Minutes. There are two episodes left, which will start streaming on July 7 and July 14.
