Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) and Other Promotional

Since 2003, Gemstone Publishing has been a proud participant in the annual Free Comic Book Day celebration happening in comic book specialty stores across the nation. 

Free Comic Book Day is traditionally held each year on the first Saturday in May, though the date was moved untillater in the year in 2020 and 2021 due to pandemic restrictions. The objective of the event is to entice new visitors browse their local comic shops, and leave with a sampling of free comic books published especially for the event by virtually all publishers in the comic book industry. This will hopefully inspire and encourage them to become regular visitors and readers.
